Psychotherapy can benefit anyone with emotional, social or mental health concerns. Understanding ourselves in a coherent way is the key to making sense of our motivations. An open dialogue enables a piecing together of the patterns in life, leading to greater understanding to facilitate change.
I provide a framework to help you look at the connections between behaviours and emotions.
The psychotherapy practice is a spacious, safe and comfortable space within my home in the village of Huworth-on-Tees, Darlington.
The frequency of the sessions will be discussed at the first meeting unless we make prior arrangements by telephone.
The goal of therapy is to feel you have more autonomy in your life with greater well-being and happiness.
I help people with issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addictions, stress and obsessive behaviours. I have particular experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and their families.
